The rules for the forum are as follows (Please note that there are also separate rules for Captain and Ship Registration) :

1) All submissions must have either 2 votes from the staff, one vote from the captain of the ship to which you are applying, or one vote from the forum founder. Please remember to keep everything within fair gaming limitations. There is no such thing as a perfect character and no character should be described as such. In the actual Cowboy Bebop series, no character was perfect and every character made mistakes. There is no longer a post limit. Please try to keep everything within reasonable limits and don't get excessive or abuse this change. Canon characters are allowed but not required and NO CROSSOVERS are being accepted at this time.

2) This forum is meant to be very relaxed. We understand things can get heated in the actual gameplay between characters, but keep everything in the chatbox civil. Hentai is completely banned on this site and doing so will result in a warning and then a ban if it persists. While we respect your perversion, not everybody wants to think about what you do behind your computer screen.

3) All absences must be placed on the Arrivals and Departures section. Failure to post within 72 hours immediately grants the next player in posting order sole permission to control your character in any way they choose including having your character take damage from any oncoming attacks so your character's life or death is solely in their hands. Any bounty heads with an extended absence also do not increase their bounties and players that have not posted in a three month period will automatically be deleted by the forum.

As with any of these rules, if you have any
problems that can't be dealt with on a player level, you may have staff intervene but any and all staff decisions are final so keep that in mind before you involve them. There is even a complaints and suggestions portion for additions or revisions. Please keep in mind that if you offer no alternative or suggestion, your complaint will not be taken seriously. If you don't like the staff's decision, you may appeal to the forum founder to get something changed but only do this as a last resort. The forum founder's word is absolutely final.

By submitting any information on this forum, you are acknowledging and accepting these rules and agreeing to abide by them.

Character Registration
All characters will be handled and approved by the ship captains and staff only gets involved in the event of captain inactivity. A player also has the option to submit for a noncombatant character. Noncombatant characters don't participate in leaderboards and, as the name suggests, can not be engaged in combat. Players wishing to play a noncombatant character need only inform one of the Admins of this decision so that special descriptor can be added to the character and are automatically approved. Noncombatant characters are required to play an NPC guard in the event of a prison break however and failure to do so may result in removal from the forum based on staff decision.

Any bounty hunter may have a bounty listed on their character in addition to their bounty hunter status. A bounty hunter with a bounty added to their status may not turn in a bounty head and must have another character from their ship turn it in for them. Any character wishing to do so must mention this in the character sheet or sumbit a separate bounty head application later. As mentioned in the rules section, NO CROSSOVERS are being allowed at this time. Canon characters and ships are allowed but not required and will be handled on a case by case basis by the staff.

Captain and Ship Registration
Being a captain can be one of the most demanding jobs that the forum has to offer but also one of the most rewarding. The title of captain is mainly a formality and doesn't mean that crew members are required to follow your orders. All captains are required to submit up to date information concerning an accurate woolong and crew count to the forum staff in the Captain's panel. Captain and ship approval will be handled by Staff.

It also required that the captain read and understand the rules for our currency system. When submitting a ship for approval, you must use the template provided and agree to keep active or designate a co-captain to keep your group active. Ships are required to have at least 3 members in order to be considered for approval.

At the end of each month, the ship with the highest bankroll may opt to have all of its members receive the rank of Cowboy Big Shot. This rank currently is just a means of bragging rights although additional rewards may be added later. As mentioned in the rules section, NO CROSSOVERS are being allowed at this time. Canon captains and ships are allowed but not required and will be handled on a case by case basis by the staff.

Syndicate and Bounty Registration
New syndicates must have at least four members to be approved and must be submitted to staff for review. Individual members and bounties must also be submitted to staff and start out with a ₩ 1,000,000 bounty. For each month that the bounty goes without being captured, they gain an additional ₩ 1,000,000. Each successful murder will add an additional ₩ 500,000 must be reported to staff for an accurate bounty count. Any bounty hunter with a bounty added to their status may not turn in a bounty and must have another character from their ship turn it in for them. Any character wishing to do so must submit a separate application for both. Syndicates are scored based on a total of all of their members bounties combined and any member of a syndicate may never leave from that syndicate without it resulting in an immediate character death.

At the end of each month, the bounty head or syndicate with the highest bounty may opt to be given the rank of Top Offender. This rank right now is purely for show but additional rewards may be added later.

Bounties who are captured are immediately taken to Pluto where they may still RP but may break out of prison only once after gaining approval from a staff member. After they are approved, they must also RP their escape from the prison against NPC guards. Any bounties that have escaped are given the rank of Escapee and are killed upon a second capture. As mentioned in the rules section, NO CROSSOVERS are being allowed at this time. Canon syndicates are allowed but not required and will be handled on a case by case basis by the staff.

Hacker Registration
Hackers are a very special type of character and will be handled on a case by case by the staff. Hackers gain an additional panel full of challenges which gain woolong rewards to the first hacker which completes them. As mentioned in the rules section, NO CROSSOVERS are being allowed at this time. Canon hackers are allowed but not required and will be handled on a case by case basis by the staff.

ISSP Registration
ISSP registration will be handled and approved by staff. Members are scored based on how many bounties they have captured and the player with the highest amount of bounties captured at the end of every month may have the option to be given the rank of Chief of the ISSP. A player with this rank also gains the benefit of having the benefit to approve or disapprove ISSP members as though they were staff while the descriptor is active. As mentioned in the rules section, NO CROSSOVERS are being allowed at this time. Canon characters are allowed but not required and will be handled on a case by case basis by the staff.

The currency used in the Cowboy Bebop universe are called woolongs and ₩ 1 is equivalent to $.10 or €.08 for our overseas users. Woolongs are usually exchanged digitally and very little exchange is done by hand. This page is what you can use to get a good understanding of exactly how the money system works and to report any spending that may be done as well.

Any crew member that is approved by a captain comes at a cost of ₩ 50,000 initially and an additional ₩ 50,000 monthly (including the captain). Hackers cost ₩ 100,000 initially and an additional ₩ 50,000 monthly. The monthly cost is to cover any sort of property damage, ammunitions and weapon costs, medical expenses and other miscellaneous charges they might accrue on their daily activities.

Any successful bounty capture can be claimed for their full bounty amount. To do so, they only need to be brought to an ISSP dropoff point so that the bounty may be claimed and reported to staff for an accurate count. Syndicate members may be turned in based on a percentage of the bounty based on the total amount of members.

Any personal ship submissions (such as the Swordfish or Redtail) must be submitted to the captain for review and approval and the applicant must have read and understood the section of Ship Schematics related to personal ships. Any personal ship that is approved comes at a monthly cost of ₩ 50,000. A personal ship that is rendered inoperable may be repaired for the cost of a monthly upkeep.

Regular ship submissions (such as the Bebop) start out with a ₩ 1,500,000 spending limit and deduct for each augment and character they add. They must also be in compliance with the Ship Schematics section and monthly upkeep is ₩ 150,000. This is to cover every cost that may be associated such as hyperspace costs, fuel costs, ammunition and other miscellaneous charges and also includes one personal ship in that amount.

Any other questions related to the money system can be directed to the forum founder.

Rules have been changed and revised. The following rules will take effect immediately:

Ships are no longer required to have separate accounts and any ship combat is done by the ship captains.

Posting limits have been removed as well as posting limits gains for additional enhancers and ranks.

Bounty heads are no longer required to make a syndicate to escape from prison but the escapee rule still applies.

Syndicates now will have their own separate groups and colors.

More revisions may be made at a later time.
